We purchased the house in 2017 having lived at the Christian youth camp (a mile from the village) where Alison was the manager for the previous 11 years. We heard that the property was going on the market on the Monday, and we put in an offer without seeing it that very day. The two daughters that were selling the house had lived here with their parents, Les and Heather Beynon, throughout their childhood and were very pleased to sell it to people that were going to live here permanently. Sadly Heather had died recently following Les who had passed away sometime before. Randolph and Linda, who knew Heather and Les very well, told us that, "Whatever you do, you must buy the property because it is a very happy house.” We did as we were told!
